MIDRAND – A nine-hour endurance race is underway on Saturday at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand.

The iconic track is undergoing upgrades to meet FIA requirements to host a Formula 1 race.
South Africa is pushing to host an F1 Grand Prix in 2027, with the last F1 race having been held in 1993.
